This exhibit showcases a remarkable transformation of handmade pink champagne mugs into exquisite ceiling lights, known as the Pink Champagne Ceiling Lights. The original Pink Champagne Mugs were created in collaboration with the innovative Austrian creative genius Christiane Wallner-Haas (a former intern), also known as Kaia Keramik, these lighting pieces exemplify creativity and craftsmanship.
Originally designed as unique champagne mugs, each piece was crafted to celebrate individuality and the joy of shared moments. The concept behind the mugs embraced the notion that life is more delightful with company, much like the effervescence of bubbles in a glass. Each mug was thoughtfully handcrafted, ensuring that no two pieces were alike in shape, size or color. This distinctiveness reflects the unique journeys of the individuals who use them – whether they poured champagne, coffee or even their innermost thoughts into these vessels, the mugs held space for all experiences without judgment.
Now, as ceiling lights, these replicas maintain the playful spirit of the original mugs while serving a new purpose. They illuminate spaces with a warm glow, reminiscent of joyful celebrations and intimate gatherings. Without these lights, the SNASKSEUM would be left in darkness, rendering the vibrant atmosphere nearly invisible.
